The deadline is quickly approaching to submit nominations to the Office of Student Affairs for the 2013 Lincoln Academy of Illinois Student Laureate Award.

Student Laureates are honored for their overall excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The student must be a senior with no less than a 3.0 cumulative and major grade point average. Each recipient will receive the Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Medallion, a certificate of achievement and a $1,000 monetary grant. The Student Laureates will also attend a special ceremony that will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in the Hall of Representatives at the Old State Capitol Building in Springfield.

Nominations are due by noon Thursday, October 10, 2013 and should be submitted online. Self nominations are also accepted. Contact Vickie Tolbert if you have questions.
