    You are invited to participate in a new research study conducted through the Center for Disability Resources under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Sheehan. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions and decision-making related to seeking accommodations in higher education. Your perspectives are valuable, regardless of whether you have previously registered for accommodations or received disability services. You are welcome to participate whether or not you participated in an earlier survey for this study.

    The Ethics Center is looking for faculty and recent Ph.D. graduates to participate in an interview study examining power dynamics and power differentials in research lab groups. The interview study will consist of a 60- to 90-minute interview, with an optional follow-up interview session. Participants will receive $150 e-gift cards upon completion of the interviews.

    WISER 2026 Seed-Funding Grant Proposal Deadline Approaching

    Illinois Tech's Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research (WISER) has issued a Request for Proposals for the 2026 Cross-disciplinary Seed Funding Grants (CSFG) program. Initiated in 2009, the CSFG program is designed to support and enhance new and innovative cross-disciplinary research concepts that are expected to attract major external funding in areas of national interest related to energy and sustainability.     The Institute for Food Safety and Health (IFSH) has released its Annual Report of Research for 2025, now available online. Research conducted at IFSH with the FDA and industry partners addresses key food safety issues facing the country and supports the development of safe food with health-promoting properties from farm to fork.
