Presented by the IIT Muslim Students Association in collaboration with the International Center and the Office of Spiritual Life and Service Learning, 30 Mosques in 30 Days: An American Adventure will take place from 2:15-3:15 pm in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center Auditorium on Friday, November 8, 2013.
This event will feature comedian Aman Ali regarding his travel across America with his friend. Their sense of adventure and desire to understand the diversity of the United States led these two young men to take a road trip across America, stopping to have breakfast at a different mosque in a different state each day over Ramadan. Through storytelling, images and humor, they share what they learned about themselves and others throughout their journey. Light refreshments will be served.
This event reflects the values expressed in IIT’s Diversity Statement and is intended to promote diversity at IIT.
