The 2018 Chicago Regional Bridge Building Contest was held on January 23. The top two finishers in the three regions are:

Justin Zhon – Neuqua Valley High School (2211)

Chicago South Suburban
Todd Bajzek – Tinley Park High School (3971)
Hunter Sakiewicz – Lincoln-Way East High School (3552)

The numbers in parentheses are the efficiencies of the bridges (the load held divided by the mass of the bridge). These six students will participate in the International Contest in April 2018 on the Illinois Tech campus. The full bridge specifications and complete results can be found here.
