All spring 2020 full-time (at least 12 credit hours) Illinois Tech undergraduate students are invited to enter the Department of Humanities’ 55th Annual Writing Contest.
Entries can include original pieces of fiction, poetry, plays, and nonfiction. First, second, and third place awards are given in each category. Contest winners receive framed certificates and cash prizes during an awards ceremony and luncheon held at a later date. A book of the contest’s winning entries is also published by the department each fall.
The deadline to submit to the contest is 5 p.m. on March 6. Winners will be announced on the Lewis College of Human Sciences website on March 30.
