The Illinois Louis Stokes STEM Pathway and Research Alliance (ILSPRA) Scholarship program is specifically related to undergraduate research in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM); architecture; and psychology. The ILSPRA program is designed to promote undergraduate research projects that are developed or under development. Scholarship amounts typically range from $1,000 to $3,000.

Undergraduate applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents from racial groups that are underrepresented in STEM careers (African American, Latinx-American, Native American).

The application deadline is December 15, 2021.

To be eligible, the candidate must thoroughly complete the application. A well-written application is critical for acceptance into the ILSPRA Scholarship program. Please note that this program is competitive in nature, and some applicants may not be funded.
