Additional Ventures Catalyst to Independence Award (AVCIA) which is a transition award that supports exceptional early career scientists during the senior years of a mentored postdoctoral research position through the transition to an independent faculty position.

Those in basic and translational fields are invited to submit a proposal on research that has the potential to impact our understanding or treatment of single ventricle heart disease and aligns with focus areas including:
Genetics
Cardiovascular Development
Cardiac Tissue Engineering
Biomarker Identification
