Mike Gosz, Vice President for Data Analytics at Illinois Tech, was honored among the 2023 cohort of Education Champions by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Gosz received this recognition last week at the AWS IMAGINE: Education, State and Local Leaders Conference held in Sacramento, California.

The AWS Education Champions program was established in 2022 to honor innovators bringing about substantial digital transformation within their educational institutions through the AWS Cloud. This year, the program expanded its scope internationally.

At Illinois Tech, Mike Gosz uses data-informed analysis to drive significant enhancements in enrollment, student success, and various other university operations. Gosz joined Illinois Tech in 1996 and became part of the senior leadership team in 2006. As an AWS Education Champion, Gosz will apply insights from professional development and thought leadership opportunities to his work at Illinois Tech, while increasing Illinois Tech’s visibility amongst peers and other education and industry leaders.
