31st Street from Wentworth Avenue to LaSalle Street is fully closed from June 3–30, 2024, for the Illinois Department of Transportation to perform bridge deck overlay work. Please plan accordingly.

Eastbound 31st Street traffic should detour to northbound Halsted Street to eastbound Cermak Road, to southbound State Street, and back to eastbound 31st Street. The westbound 31st Street detour is the reverse of the eastbound instructions.

Cross street access will be maintained at all times. Same-side pedestrian access, ADA accessibility, and 3 of 4 crosswalks at impacted intersections will be maintained at all times. Additional wayfinding signage at LaSalle Street, Wentworth Avenue, and the 90/94 ramp approaching 31st Street will be posted.
