Apply for Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program in Data Science and Computational Math

Illinois Tech will host a 10-week Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program in Data Science and Computational Math from June 2 to August 8, 2024. Program candidates will receive a stipend of $550 per week and:

  • Gain insight and learning into the hottest topics
  • Have hands-on research experiences
  • Understand how to conduct real-world research
  • Interact with graduate students and faculty
  • Enjoy interesting field trips
  • Present at national conference

The applicants are required to have a foundational background in mathematics including calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and some programming skills. Currently, we can only accept applications from U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
