Illinois Tech faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in the 2025 SIAM Great Lakes Section Annual Meeting. This annual conference is free for all participants, though registration is required. The conference will take place at Illinois Tech’s Mies campus.

Founded in 1988, GLSIAM serves Michigan, Northern Ohio, Northern Indiana, Southern Ontario, and surrounding areas. Its annual meetings reflect the dynamic and evolving interests of applied mathematicians across the region. This year’s conference will take place at Illinois Tech, and its scientific program will center around the overlapping fields of:
- Differential equations
- Computation
- Data science
- Physical and biological sciences
- Mathematical AI and Applications

- Give a 25-minute mini-symposium talk (Deadline: Friday, September 5. After the deadline, email tleslie@illinoistech.edu to inquire about late submissions)
- Present a poster
- Attend as a non-presenter
Mini-symposium sessions will be organized by the conference committee based on submitted titles and keywords. The detailed schedule will be posted in September 2025.
