The Real Time Communications Conference (RTC) at Illinois Tech, an International Conference of the IEEE sponsored by the RTC Lab and by the Chicago Chapter of the IEEE, will be held in Hermann Hall on October 7–8, 2025. This conference is focused on real time multimedia applications as they embrace AI/ML, VoiceTech, the Quantum Internet and other emerging technologies.

There are many opportunities for our students to participate for free!

Poster Competition: All people whose posters are accepted for the competition will automatically have free admission to the entire conference, including the social events. Cash prizes will be awarded to the three best posters. The deadline for submitting a poster is September 23. For details please visit the conference’s website.

Student Volunteer: 25 student volunteers are needed to provide various types of support at the conference. These include, Registration Desk, Trouble Desk, Materials Distribution and Room Monitor. In mid-September we will hold two training sessions for student volunteers. Please contact Professor Carol Davids for more detail at davids@illinoistech.edu.
