I am writing to share a reminder of the launch of Illinois Tech’s comprehensive Strategic Planning Initiative and the dates of our upcoming weekly town hall events. The first town hall will take place tomorrow, November 12, and I encourage you all to join us for this important discussion.

You can stay up to date with developments, view upcoming meetings, and share feedback through the Strategic Planning Initiative page on the Office of the Provost SharePoint site. The page includes an event calendar and a confidential Submission Portal where you can submit your insights directly to the Strategic Planning Committee.

At our weekly meetings each Wednesday, beginning tomorrow, we will share updates and invite your perspectives as this vital work progresses.

Town Hall Schedule

• November 12: In-Person Strategic Plan Town Hall with focus on the introduction to the plan with Provost Elizabeth Hudson, Kaplan Institute Steelcase Room West
• November 19: Virtual Strategic Plan Town Hall with focus on excellence and distinctiveness with Committee Chair Hamid Arastoopour
• December 3: Virtual Strategic Plan Town Hall with focus on career readiness with Committee Chair Brent Stephens
• December 10: In-Person Strategic Plan Town Hall with focus on Corporate Partnerships with Committee Chair Brian Schaneberg, Kaplan Institute Steelcase Room West
• December 17: Virtual Strategic Plan Town Hall with focus on community engagement with Committee Chair Alicia Bunton
