Michelle is a cross-sector strategist at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, where she focuses on expanding access and opportunities for women entrepreneurs across the state. She is known for building partnerships that lead to real outcomes, connecting founders with the resources, networks, and support they need to grow.

Emily Pinkston (Allies for Community Business)
Emily works closely with entrepreneurs as a community lender, helping small business owners access capital and make informed financial decisions. With a background in consulting and financial analysis, she brings a practical perspective on what it really takes to secure and use funding effectively.

Tina Hrabak (LongJump)
Tina is a Partner at LongJump, a Chicago-based venture fund investing in early-stage founders. She has spent years working with startups, helping them shape ideas, navigate fundraising, and build companies that last. She brings an inside look into how venture investors think and what makes a founder stand out.
