Your Skinny on Divvy Needed

This year, Chicago Department of Transportation’s (CDOT) Divvy Bike-Share Program will be adding an additional 175 stations throughout the city. Divvy hopes to expand its presence on IIT’s main campus and in adjoining neighborhoods. From 11 am – 2 pm, Thursday, January 16, CDOT representatives will be available on the bridge of the McCormick Tribune Campus Center to seek feedback from students, faculty and staff as to where they would like to see Divvy stations cited in our community. Ideally, Divvy stations will be sited at half-mile intervals. CDOT has a special interest in locating new Divvy stations to help grow adoption of the bike-share program by new users.

Additionally, CDOT has recently launched a new website to encourage Chicagoans to make suggestions for Divvy locations and provide feedback on existing stations and site suggestions others have made. Join us this Thursday to share your ideas for Divvy.
