The Global Association for Creative Advertising and Design Awards has named IIT College of Architecture’s Nowness publication a 2014 “In Book” award winner in its brochures and catalogues category.

Nowness was published in March 2013 under the direction of Wiel Arets, the Dean and John and Jeanne Rowe Chair of Architecture at IIT. The promotional catalog, composed by College of Architecture faculty and designed by Dutch graphic designer Edwin van Gelder, is intended to highlight IIT’s Miesian architectural legacy and to offer a prospective vision for a new, contemporary direction under Arets’s leadership. Nowness is available for free in a PDF format.

According to the awarding organization’s website, “D&AD celebrates and nurtures outstanding work in design and advertising by awarding the finest work each year.”
