Tarek Fadel and Donna Heidkamp will receive the Outstanding Young Alumnus/Alumna Awards at the 2014 Alumni Awards at 11:30 am on Friday, April 25, 2014 in the Hermann Hall Ballroom.

Tarek Fadel

While studying for the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE) in 2003, Fadel (LAW ’03) decided to withdraw from the exam and develop a better way for future attorneys to study. Fadel founded AdaptiGroup LLC. and, in 2004, launched a simulator and prep program that helps better prepare law students for the MBE. Donna Heidkamp

After earning her bachelor’s degree in Texas, Heidkamp (M.S. FMT ’99) moved to Chicago to participate in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Agricultural Broker Training Program. She joined R.J. O’Brien & Associates in 1995 and quickly worked her way up to executive director of RJO Futures, the company’s private client division.
