2010 IIT Pumpkin Launch

The 7th Annual IIT Pumpkin Launch will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 15 on Ed Glancy Baseball Field. Using pumpkin-launching machines they design and build, student teams compete for prizes for distance and accuracy. What sort of designs will win this year’s competition? Catapult, trebuchet, ballista, or something entirely new? You’ll have to be there to find out!

Team Registration
Team registrations are due by 5 pm on Friday, September 16. There is no limit to the number of students on a team, but all members must be registered by the day of the launch or your team may be subject to disqualification. Visit the Pumpkin Launch website for rules and registration information.

The 7th Annual IIT Pumpkin Launch is free and open to the public, and is organized by the Biomedical Engineering Society, Office of Student Affairs, and participating faculty members.
