Each summer, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers RISE: Research Internships in Science and Engineering for undergraduate students and RISE Professional for graduate students and recent graduates. Both programs offer paid internships in English in Germany to students in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences, engineering, and other STEM fields. Refer to the attached RISE Presentation and visit the program websites for more information.

The application systems for both programs open on Saturday, December 6, 2014. The application deadline for RISE is Thursday, January 15, 2015, and for RISE Professional is Saturday, January 31, 2015. Email studyabroad@iit.edu after Saturday, December 20 to request a free copy of your transcript for use in your application. The Career Management Center offers IIT students assistance with resumes and cover letters.
