On Tuesday afternoon, the Career Management Center (CMC) hosted the first of two VIP Career Camps and alumni networking receptions designed to prepare and transition from students to working professionals; the event also welcomed young alumni seeking to redefine their career and switch industries.

In all, 50 students and alumni attended the December 16 event. The VIP Career Camp provided valuable advice to alumni who were looking to brush up on their professional skills. Through interactive and participatory workshops and presentations, the VIP Career Camp also covered topics including resume and cover letters, successful interviewing, professional networking, and incorporating social media into a career search.

Immediately after the VIP Career Camp, the CMC and its campus partners hosted an Alumni Networking Reception.
