The accolades continue to arrive for Illinois Tech men’s soccer player Brahadon Ramirez. Ramirez, a senior midfielder from Estado de Mexico, Mexico, was named to the 2014 NSCAA Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men’s All-Central Region Team.
Ramirez was previously named a USCAA 1st Team All-American. The senior midfielder led the Scarlet Hawks with 13 goals and 8 assists, totaling 34 points on the season.
Illinois Tech Men’s Soccer finished the season with a 13-5-1 record and qualified for the USCAA National Tournament. The Scarlet Hawks were ranked 5th in the final USCAA poll and lost a tough 3-1 decision in the USCAA Quarterfinals to Concordia College (AL). Illinois Tech ended on a high note with a 2-0 victory over Washington Adventist (MD) in the USCAA National Tournament consolation game.
