Natalia Litchinitser (Ph.D. EE ‘97) was recently named a fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). The prestigious honor is limited to no more that one half of one percent of the APS membership and recognizes outstanding contributions to physics.
Litchinitser was named a fellow in recognition of her fundamental contributions to linear and nonlinear light-matter interactions in metamaterials and structured light interactions with nanostructures. She currently serves as Professor of Electrical Engineering at University at Buffalo, The State University of New York.
