The International Center will be offering two information sessions for IIT department staff and faculty to review new J-1 Scholar forms, regulations, and procedures. Topics will include the new English language proficiency requirements, processing timelines and new health insurance requirements. The information sessions will be offered at the following times:

Friday, January 16
9:30 a.m.-11 a.m.

Wednesday, January 21
1:30 p.m.-3 p.m.
Hermann Hall Alumni Lounge

Please note that J-1 Students already meet the new requirements and so are not impacted by the regulation changes. This session is in regards to J-1 Scholars only and is intended for IIT staff and faculty who are currently hosting or are interested in hosting J-1 scholars.
