An Engineers Without Borders – IIT case study was published in a special edition of the International Journal for Service Learning in Engineering, Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship (IJSLE) focusing on “University Engineering Programs That Impact Communities: Critical Analyses and Reflection. The manuscript, titled “Case Studies from a Community-Focused Engineering Program with Projects in Haiti and Nicaragua,” was written by IIT students Sara Glade (Masters, Environmental Engineering) and Cara Karter (third-year undergraduate, Social and Economic Development Policy) under the direction of Dr. Krishna Pagilla (CAEE).
