Students and Alumni: Due to popularity, “Career Corner,” Career Services evening advising sessions, has expanded even more. Sessions are still Tuesdays and Thursdays in Galvin Library, upper level (northeast side), from noon-5 p.m. and Wednesdays in The McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) (near Office of Campus Life) from noon-5 p.m.
Advising services include résumé editing and proofreading; coaching on personal presentation and networking techniques; identifying viable career goals based on applicant background; targeted industry and position research; informational resources; and more. Sessions are run by W. David Work, IIT alumnus and Career Services staff member.
Students are encouraged to make appointments with Work via Jobs4Hawks. Walk-ins are also welcome. Appointments at times not listed above may be requested by emailing Work directly at wwork@iit.edu.
