Are you an international student new to Illinois Institute of Technology? You can learn about the services and resources at Galvin Library by attending the Fundamentals for New International Students sessions on Tuesday, August 18 and Friday, August 21 in the Library Learning Center (LLC) on the lower level of Galvin Library. With a full tour of the library building, our international student services librarian, Yi Han, will tell you everything you need to know to get started including:
- How to find books in the library
- Where textbooks are located
- How to reserve a study room
- Where to find articles
Sessions will be offered during the following times:
Tuesday, August 18
- 10:30–11 a.m., tour only
- 11:30 a.m.–12:15 p.m., English session
- 2:30–3:15 p.m., 中文图书馆介绍 Chinese session
Friday, August 21
- 3:15–4 p.m., English session
- 4: 15–5 p.m., 中文图书馆介绍 Chinese session
