Jackie Anderson, director of student accounting, and Adrienne Wassell, director of financial systems, were selected as lead presenters for the PDG 36th National Student Loan Receivables conference in Savannah, Ga.
Anderson’s session will focus on recent process improvement projects executed in Student Accounting, specifically focusing on maximizing existing systems (Banner, Appworx, etc.) to improve operations. The various projects will highlight how automation reduced outstanding receivables and increased cash to improve the financial health of the institution.
Wassell is leading two sessions this year. Her first session will focus on best practices for administrating the Perkins loan portfolio. Her second session will focus on how to use the project management process to introduce change into campus culture. This presentation will highlight the creation of the new Decision Support System for graduate awarding implemented in the last year.
