As part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate lasting radio shows hosted by affiliates of Illinois Institute of Technology, WIIT 88.9FM Chicago is offering open slots to any Illinois Tech faculty or staff member who wishes to share their taste in music, their thoughts on current events, or any other concept on the airwaves of Chicago and worldwide on its online stream. WIIT is an open-format station, meaning that prospective DJs are unrestricted in what they play or what ideas guide their show. Slots start at one hour per week, and new DJs can obtain up to two hours of on-air time per week.

Interested faculty or staff members are encouraged to head to radio.iit.edu to fill out WIIT’s new show application, or to email wiit@iit.edu with any questions regarding the station.
