Everyone at Illinois Tech can make a difference in the lives of our students—and connecting students with career opportunities is an important way to contribute. The fall 2017 Career Fairs will take place on Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21, divided by company industry, as outlined below.
We are making a concerted effort to reach out to companies that represent all departments and fields to attend our main Career Fairs, virtual career fairs, and other recruiting events. Please forward this information within your department, and with companies and institutions in your professional networks.
September 20: Computer science, information technology, business services, government organizations, non-profits, military, and search firms
September 21: Engineering, industrial technology, architecture, and natural sciences
*Recruiters seeking to hire architecture students have the option for a booth in Hermann Hall, S. R. Crown Hall, or both locations.
If you have relationships with companies or institutions that you would like to contact directly regarding the Career Fairs, please forward them this Employer Career Fair flyer. For companies that want to build a strategic outreach plan and for sponsorship questions, contact Jerry Doyle, vice provost, Career Services, at 773.505.5473 or doyle@iit.edu.
Illinois Tech may have good connections with potential employers that we haven’t yet approached about the Career Fairs. Potential employers should know that our Career Fairs and other Career Services programs are great ways to meet exceptionally talented Illinois Tech students capable of excelling as employees within their workplaces. Collaborative efforts to connect our students with meaningful employment will put us on track to exceed the AITU placement average for all graduates.
