The Illinois Tech Women’s Cross Country team competed in the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational on September 1 at Eldridge Park. The Scarlet Hawks did not record a team score.

Illinois Tech Highlights

• Erin Nelson started her sophomore season by leading the team, placing 62nd in the 4K race at 18:20.7
• Zoey Krevitz placed 96th in her first collegiate meet with a time of 21:08.6
• Meredith O’Leary finished in 103rd place with a time of 22:18.8

• The Scarlet Hawks hit the course again on Friday, September 8 at 5 p.m. at the Aurora University Invite. The race will take place at Oakhurst Forest Preserve.
