The Illinois Tech Men’s Cross Country team made the short trek west on September 8 to participate in the Aurora University Spartan Classic. The Scarlet Hawks placed 10th in the 8k event.

Meet Highlights

• Cole Dammeier proved to be a veteran leader, pacing the Scarlet Hawks in 30th place (27:06.1).
• Thomas Doyle placed 61st with a time of 28:08.2.
• Atul Krishna finished in 103rd place and posted a time of 30:17.7.
• Daniel Marten clocked in at 30:28.4 (108th place).
• Mohammed Saleem recorded a 33:57.3 time (127th place).
