Julia Taliana had an amazing week for Illinois Tech women’s soccer, and was recently named Women’s Soccer Player of the Week by both the Association of Division III Independents and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.

Taliana finished the week with six goals, three assists, and 15 points as Illinois Tech went 2-0. The freshman opened the week with four goals and three assists in a win over Rockford on October 5. On October 7, she followed up with two goals, including the game-winner, in a 5-1 win at St. Mary of the Woods.
