Celebrate National Career Development Month

November is National Career Development Month, a time to refocus on lifelong career development. After all, how will you get where you want to go without a map? Throughout the month, Career Services will be highlighting on-campus resources and opportunities that will teach you skills such as interview-prep strategies, salary negotiation, meaningful personal pitches, and professional etiquette. We invite you to take advantage of these on-campus opportunities to launch your career to success, and be a part of a national celebration of Career Development.

  • Professional Etiquette Meal
    • Tuesday, November 28
    • 12:45–1:45 p.m.
    • the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Ballroom
    • This event was designed by the Student Employment Office to introduce students to dining etiquette. Table manners play an important part in making a favorable impression. RSVP required. 
  • Rave Awards
    • Wednesday, November 29
    • 9:30–11 a.m.
    • Hermann Hall Expo
    • The Rave Awards will be celebrated as a thank you breakfast to recognize student supervisors and student employees. RSVP required by Monday, November 27.
