The Illinois Tech Men’s Tennis team opened the spring season against a tough Grinnell College team on the road on February 4. Illinois Tech was defeated 9-0.

Meet Highlights

• Illinois Tech had some tight matches in the top two singles spot. Top player Franklin Zhong was defeated 6-3, 7-5. Yousef Abdo, playing out of the second spot, lost 7-1, 5-7, 10-7.
• Adam Laitinen, playing in the fourth singles spot, also had a close match, losing 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
