On April 4, 61 members of the Illinois Tech community made their way from the first to the 19th floor of the IIT Tower via the west stairwell. Climbers were cheered for along the way by enthusiastic volunteers, as well as red and gold footprints listing their names adorning the stairwell walls.

All who reached the top were entered into a raffle and got to take a spin on the prize wheel. Those who climbed multiple times got more raffle entries: nine climbed twice. The record for most climbs in one day goes to David Scott, who completed the challenge five times.

Our raffle winners were:

• Abbey Vargas – five personal training sessions
• Greg Makowski – Illinois Tech swag basket
• Jason Romano – a cake, donated by Jerry Doyle
