All faculty should report for robing at Stuart Building, located at 10 West 31st Street. Please arrive on, Saturday, May 12, starting at 8 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served.
Even if you are not attending the Opening Ceremony, you still must pick up your robe at Stuart Building prior to attending your Academic Unit Ceremony.
The procession from Stuart Building to Ed Glancy Baseball Field for the Main Ceremony will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m.
Ph.D. Hooding Event
If you plan to attend the Ph.D. hooding ceremony on Friday, May 11, your robe will be available prior to the start of that event at Hermann Hall. You will need to wear the same robe on May 12 for the Opening and Academic Unit Ceremonies, so please remember to bring it back with you on Saturday. The hooding event starts at 4 p.m. Faculty and advisors will have reserved seating in the auditorium. Please find your seat before the ceremony begins. Contact Maggie Garcia via email, mgarci14@iit.edu if you have any questions regarding the Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony.
At the end of the Commencement ceremonies on May 12, all regalia must be returned to the check-in area in Stuart Building no later than 3:30 p.m. OR, you can give your rented regalia to your Academic Unit Planner and he/she can drop off to the MTCC. If you did coat check in Stuart Building you will need to return there to pick-up your checked items.
