The success of our students, faculty, and university would not be possible without the hard work, outstanding support, and services provided by Illinois Tech staff.
The university community now has the opportunity to recognize outstanding teams that have exemplified Illinois Tech’s spirit of excellence in 2018 with accomplishments in the following areas:
- Addressing issues related to diversity, identity, inclusion, or other social justice topics
- Implementing innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of university operations
- Developing an innovative solution that improves the experience of Illinois Tech students (prospective or current) or alumni
- Developing an innovative contribution to support excellence in teaching and research
Nominations can originate from anyone in the university community including staff, faculty, students or vendors. Teams must have a minimum of two nominees with a maximum of 10, and reflect collaboration from across two or more VP/dean units. Judging criteria will be based on service to students, faculty, or staff; innovation and excellence of the initiative; and the degree to which the initiative improves a university function.
A team of awards committee members will review the nominations and select award winners.
Nominations must be submitted to the Office of Human Resources by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 29. All nominations must be submitted using the online nomination submission form. Click here to access the form.
Thank you for taking the time to help us identify outstanding staff team members for this special recognition. The awards will be presented at the Staff Service Awards Ceremony, to be held on Tuesday, December 11 at 2 p.m. in Hermann Hall Auditorium.
