The Illinois Tech/IITRI University Holiday Party will take place on Tuesday, December 11 from 3:30–6:30 p.m. in Hermann Hall.

The party will feature an assortment of food items, two free drink tickets, raffle prizes, a photo booth, and dancing. There will also be an Ugly Sweater Contest, with the winner receiving a $50 gift card. If you normally drive to work and plan to drink alcoholic beverages at the holiday party, the university strongly encourages you to make alternative travel arrangements home, such as using Uber or public transportation, or carpooling with someone who does not plan to drink. Please also have a valid state ID or driver’s license if you plan to drink alcoholic beverages.

This year the university is supporting the Louis L. Valentine Boys & Girls Club of Chicago to help provide a warm and wonderful holiday season for children. Please consider donating a new toy or a child’s winter hat, scarf or gloves. Donation boxes will be set up at the party’s registration table. Please note that monetary donations cannot be accepted.

Every employee who sends an RSVP for the holiday party by Monday, December 3 will receive a raffle ticket at the door. Individuals who bring a donation for the Boys & Girls Club will receive a second raffle ticket. The drawing will take place at 5:15 p.m. You must be present to win.

A shuttle bus will be available to and from the party for Downtown Campus faculty and staff. The bus schedule will be posted in Illinois Tech Today closer to the date of the event.

Please remember that you must have either a faculty or a staff ID card for admission. Students will not be admitted. The two adult guests (18 years or older) attending the Staff Service Awards event will be granted access to the Staff Holiday Party provided they have been registered with Human Resources.
