The Chicago Council on Science and Technology (C2ST) will host a lunch program on “Fracking: The Quest for Energy Independence” on Thursday, January 19 at the Hughes Auditorium at Northwestern University (303 East Superior, Chicago). The program will be moderated by IIT President John Anderson and will feature University of Pittsburgh Dean of Engineering Gerald D. Holder and Gas Technology Institute representatives Trevor Smith and Jordan Ciezobka.

IIT students who attend the program will be sponsored by WISER and will be admitted free-of-charge upon presentation of a current IIT ID. WISER faculty affiliates are eligible for reimbursement of registration cost.
