Participants Needed for Online Study of Long-Distance Relationships

The Du Bois Health Behavior Lab, run by Steve Du Bois in the Department of Psychology at Illinois Tech, is seeking research volunteers: adult couples (age 18+) in long-distance relationship arrangements. Each member of a participating couple will take an online survey (20–30 minutes) about their relationship experiences and well-being; they will then complete a similar survey six months later. Both members of a couple must agree to participate in order to join the study.

Participants will be compensated via online gift card credit for completing study activities; a bonus is available to couples in which both individuals complete these activities within one week of each other. If you decide to participate, your identifying information (e.g., name, e-mail address) will be password-protected and stored separately from survey responses to maintain your confidentiality. Participation is completely voluntary.
