Procurement Services is rolling out the University Preferred Shipping Program to all Illinois Tech departments and units, partnering with UPS CampusShip.

UPS won the competitive RFP process led by the E&I group purchasing consortium in 2018 and is now the new E&I contract holder, generating 18%–25%+ in cost savings over FedEx. In addition to cost savings, CampusShip also offers Illinois Tech end users a user-friendly online solution to ship packages, easy and free supplies ordering, and convenient shipment pick-up/drop-off, as well as overall improved services, standardized process, and streamlined billing.
