You may have noticed Illinois Tech Facilities Operations & Maintenance continuing with the Tree Project from last month. We have been busy trimming limbs and removing dead trees, and have kept you up to date via our Facebook page. We are moving into the next phase of our work, which includes the planting of approximately 64 trees—24 more than originally planned! We hope that the new vegetation will brighten up campus.

We will begin the work of planting new trees next week to correspond with our celebration of Earth Day on Monday, April 22 and Arbor Day on Friday, April 26. This work will take several weeks. Please be aware of where tree work is taking place and avoid areas if possible.
