Prof. Julio Lumbreras is a member of the European Union (EU) Commission Expert Group: Mission Board for climate-neutral and smart cities, which is helping the EU plan its research agenda for 2021-2027. Prof. Lumbreras is also UPM’s US liaison, based at Harvard University, and oversees IIT’s collaboration with UPM.
