I am pleased to announce that Abby McGrath has been promoted to director of the Office of Financial Aid, effective immediately. McGrath has over 12 years of financial aid experience with a proven record of accomplishment. She joined IIT in September 2009 as a financial aid counselor and was later promoted to associate director of Financial Aid in June 2011. Prior to coming to IIT, McGrath served from 2005-2009 as assistant director of financial aid at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She began her career at the University of Chicago in June 2000 as a financial aid graduate awarding specialist. I encourage the university community to welcome McGrath to her new and important role at IIT.
