AIChE has invited John Shabaker from BP to talk on March 27 at 12:45–1:45 p.m. in the John T. Rettaliata Engineering Center, room 104, about his experience as a technical advisor on low-carbon recycling at one of the world’s largest oil producers, a project leader of the U.S. arm of BP’s central R&D, and a technology strategist advancing catalytic processes for sustainable large-scale gas manufacturing.

This is a great opportunity for many students, even outside of chemical engineering and chemistry, to learn about the current state of fuel production in the U.S. and the proposed solutions for cleaner manufacturing. John has been with BP for more than 17 years, and it is an honor for us that he has agreed to give a lunch seminar.
