Join the Jules F. Knapp Entrepreneurship Center for a free lecture on Wednesday, April 25 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Chicago-Kent College of Law (565 W. Adams Street, Chicago), CK590. The workshop, titled “Almost Death to Success, and Entrepreneur’s Journey” will feature Adarsh Arora.
Arora is founder and CEO of Reputada and Lisle Technology Partners. He was also founder and CEO of Athena Security, which was acquired by Solar Winds (NYSE: SWI) in August 2012. Prior to Athena, Arora created, managed, and nurtured multiple successful start-ups (Peritus Software Services and Vista Technologies) to maturity, including an IPO that created a $500 million market capitalization. Currently Arora is the Coleman Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Illinois Tech. He will share his experiences on the business model components: importance of the business model, revenue model, market strategy, having an agile team, and surviving the “defining moments.”
