Illinois Institute of Technology freshman Anna Slominski has qualified for the 2019-20 NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship set to take place at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina on March 18-21, 2020.
Slominski, a native of Fredricksburg, Virginia, qualified for nationals with her time of 1:04.04 in the 100 yard breaststroke on day three of the Liberal Arts Championship on February 14, which went down as a facility and meet record. She will also compete in the 200 yard breaststroke as a “B” cut qualifier.
Slominski is the first Scarlet Hawk to qualify for nationals in the NCAA era.
