Join Engineers Without Borders – IIT for our first meeting of the semester today, January 28, 2015 at 12:50 p.m. in Wishnick Hall 115.

EWB-IIT seeks to fulfill the goal of “Building a better world, one community at a time” through sustainable engineering, while emphasizing leadership skills and providing the opportunity for students to implement their technical skills in ‘real life’ scenarios. In order to meet our goals we are always welcoming students from every area of study. We are Everyone Without Borders. Sustainability encompasses not only engineering, but also planning, impact analysis, and an understanding of life in developing countries. You don’t have to be an engineer to join.

Since October 2012, EWB-IIT has been working with the community of San Claudio, Nicaragua on a bridge design project and since January 2015, a household latrine project.
