“Arise and Revive” is the title of the third annual Remarkable Women Conference which will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from noon–4 p.m. at the Illinois College of Optometry, located at 3240 South Indiana Avenue, adjacent to Illinois Tech’s Mies (Main) Campus.
The Arise and Revive conference provides the ecosystem that brings together a group of remarkable women to share their personal stories and best practices. The event fosters an atmosphere of extraordinary significance, love, and purpose that encourages women to overcome the obstacles and limitations of the past and embrace their remarkable potential. Arise and Revive will showcase speakers, businesses, and organizations dedicated to improving women’s health and state of mind, and to elevating their career paths. Professionals from our community will share their experiences and expertise engaging attendees in dialogue around personal growth, career advancement, money management, health and wellness, small business, entrepreneurship, and branding.
The conference is co-sponsored by Illinois Institute of Technology’s Office of Community Affairs and Outreach Programs with Nchantment Shoes; Eurekatory; Greater Auburn-Gresham Development Corporation; Karyn’s Restaurant, Spa and Alternative/Holistic Heath; Laura Dion-Jones’ Commit To Get Fit; The Few Institute; Leak & Sons Funeral Home; and the Chicago Defender. The event is open to Illinois Tech students, faculty and staff, as well as the general public. Tickets for the conference are $35. Vendor tables are also available for $125. Early registration is recommended. A portion of the conference’s proceeds will benefit P.U.M.P.S. (Providing U Motivation to Pursue Success), an initiative dedicated to mentoring college students and fledgling entrepreneurs.
