Armour College of Engineering alumnus Manu Vora (M.S. CHE ’70, Ph.D. ’75) received the 28th Simon Collier Quality Award on November 21 from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Los Angeles Section for his outstanding achievement in the field of quality. The award is given annually to “honor, encourage, and/or specifically identify outstanding individual or group leadership, accomplishment and ingenuity in organizing, promoting, operating, or improving Quality Systems and Programs in areas such as Industry, Government, Education, Business, Health or Service Organizations, which fit the professional objectives of the American Society for Quality.”
